Pau FC must lift Fifa ban on recruitment after being fined 130,000 euros. The club is following the case to regularize its situation. Pau FC's director general, Alexandre Demuth, is closely following the case which has suffered from a mail address problem. Pau FC took the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Tas). The club was fined 130,000 euros. Pau FC obtained a Senegalese striker, Mouhamed Diouf, but the transfer was cancelled due to a residence permit issue. Pau FC considered the contract as null and void. The player obtained his residence permit and joined FC Espaly in Regional 1. Pau FC was fined 30,000 euros for a previous transfer. The club paid the amount and obtained a refund.
